AI Use & Automation Disclosure

AI Use & Automation Disclosure

Atlas Watchline believes readers deserve to know how their news is made. This page explains how we use artificial intelligence and automation.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with:

  • Researching and gathering source material
  • Drafting and structuring articles
  • Writing headlines, summaries, and search metadata
  • Formatting and editing for clarity

Human oversight

AI supports our work; it does not replace editorial responsibility. In particular:

  • Sensitive stories — politics, crime, health, finance, legal matters, deaths, and stories involving named individuals — are reviewed by a human before publication and held to a higher sourcing standard.
  • We apply source, accuracy, and policy checks before any story is published.
  • Pcnaid Inc. remains fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of everything we publish, regardless of the tools used to produce it.

Labeling

  • AI-assisted content — where AI helped with research, drafting, or editing but a human reviewed and approved the piece — carries an editorial note where appropriate.
  • AI-generated content — lower-risk, evergreen material produced with automation and standard checks — is labeled as AI-generated.

We follow platform requirements, including Apple News and Google, for labeling AI-generated and AI-assisted content.

Our limits

  • We do not use AI to invent facts, quotes, sources, or documents.
  • We do not auto-publish sensitive or high-risk news without human review.
  • We correct errors openly, whether they originate from a person or a tool. See our Corrections Policy.
