The companies said the Android version of Albion Online will add ACE Anti-Cheat Standard, with a protected launch planned for the third quarter of 2026.

ACE and Tencent Cloud announced at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, that they have signed a partnership agreement with German game developer Sandbox Interactive GmbH to integrate ACE Anti-Cheat Standard into the Android client of Albion Online.

Sandbox Interactive said it chose ACE Anti-Cheat Standard for Android after more than a year of evaluation, testing and technical consultation, with Tencent Cloud providing technical and localized services.

The release said ACE was at Gamescom for the fourth consecutive year and described it as a full-lifecycle security framework for game operations. It also said ACE has 21 years of experience and has served hundreds of games and hundreds of millions of players worldwide.

Jon Davis, technical director at Sandbox Interactive, said ACE delivered the detection coverage the project needed. He said the responsiveness of the ACE and Tencent Cloud teams helped the international integration move efficiently, and that stronger two-way validation between client and server extends the game’s existing anti-cheat efforts.

The announcement did not provide commercial terms. It said the protected Android version of Albion Online is scheduled to launch by the third quarter of 2026.
